[eiffel_software] XML parsing

Hi all, I'm trying to use the xml_parse library I've found in the GPLed
version15 of EiffelStudio. It's fine except for one thing: CDATA segment.
If my xml message contains a CDATA segment the xml parser fails giving the
error:
bom not allowed ... (or something very similar).
Is there a hope to have a xml_parser library that manages cdata segments in
the future? How far this future is?
I don't know too much about XML specs but a conformant parser shouldn't
correctly manage also cdata segments?
